Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders Today

Join us as we explore the mission, vision, and inspiring history of the PYCD Youth Conference, where young minds unite to shape a brighter future.

ABOUT US

As PYCD continues to grow, the future is full of promise. New generations of youth are stepping into leadership roles, bringing fresh ideas, creativity, and a renewed passion for Christ. With a strong legacy behind them, today’s youth are building on the foundation laid decades ago—through conferences, talent competitions, sports, and media.

The heart of PYCD remains unchanged: to equip young people to stand firm in faith, serve boldly, and impact their communities for the glory of God. As the Lord leads, PYCD looks forward to expanding its reach, deepening its discipleship, and raising up leaders who will carry the light of the gospel into the future.

Our Journey Through the Years

Explore the significant milestones that have shaped the PYCD Youth Conference into a beacon of inspiration and growth.

1982

PYCD Establishment

a group of dedicated Malayalee Pentecostal brothers in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex—Babu George, Babu K. Iype, Jose Prakash, Toms Koruthu, Abraham Thomas, and Abraham Mathew. Their passion to unite and strengthen the youth led to the first PYCD conference, where over 250 young people gathered for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Dr. Ezhankulam Samkutty was the first guest speaker, and the impactful video testimony Rajamma helped set the tone for the spiritual depth PYCD would carry forward.

1983 - 1984

First Annual Convention

PYCD expanded with annual conventions

1984

Expansion of Programs

collaborated with the second PCNAK conference held in Dallas. This gave PYCD a broader platform and connected the youth with a growing network of churches across North America.

1985

PYCD adopted a formal structure, appointing a pastor as convener and supporting leadership roles, ensuring both spiritual guidance and administrative stability.

These foundational years were marked by bold vision, prayerful leadership, and a deep desire to disciple the next generation. What began as a single-day seminar has grown into a vibrant, year-round movement impacting hundreds of youth across the DFW area.
